Composting is an effective form of waste reduction, reuse and recycling since organic materials make up approximately 30% of ALL material going to landfills. Returning organic resources to the soil is a great way to decreasing our dependence on chemical fertilizers, decrease erosion, reduce water consumption, and conserve water. Yard trimmings, vegetable cuttings, bio-solids, manure, and hay ALL have been composted at the Laramie Landfill and converted into a beneficial Class A compost for your gardens and lawns.
