STAGE 1 WATER RESTRICTIONS
continue for all City of Laramie water users.
Under Stage 1 water restrictions, water users are requested to voluntarily comply with the following:
- Outdoor watering is allowed at any time of the day, but it is suggested watering between 10 am and 6 pm is limited to hand watering, drip systems and soaker hoses.
- Washing of concrete or other hard surfaces is discouraged and should be limited to health and sanitation purposes only.
- Car washing at home is allowed, but with a bucket or a hose with shut-off nozzle.
- Restaurants serve water only on request and post signage to that effect.
- Lodging establishments restrict laundry services to every three days unless requested and inform customers to that effect.
- Irrigation from private wells be posted at a point visible from the street, saying a private well is being used.
- Homeowners and businesses are encouraged to use low water consuming turf and plants
- Indoor conservation measures (e.g., taking shorter showers, installing low-flow appliances or flow restrictors, fixing leaking pipes, etc.) are recommended.
