Grants & Partner Funding

Local Grant Partners

The City of Laramie benefits from a strong network of non-profit agencies throughout our community, providing citizens services that the City alone can not. These agencies help leverage volunteer hours and grant funds from a variety of sources to help make our community strong and vibrant.

In 2012, the City of Laramie received requests of $598,998 from local Community Partner Organizations for the 2013 fiscal year, and agreed to award a total of $367,541 during the June budget session to 28 different organizations.

To view these grant requests and awards, please see the chart located here. The City of Laramie also works with the Albany County Rec Mill Board to assemble requests for funding recreation projects.  Funding requests to the Rec Mill Board will be submitted towards the end of the year and the City encourages recreational organizations to contact the City Grant Analyst at 307-721-5201 to explore this funding option.
The City of Laramie and Albany County will be hearing presentations from organizations that submitted funding requests in early March. These presentations are an opportunity for applicants to follow up the information already provided and answer questions that the elected board members may have.  Presentation schedule is set for Monday March 25th in City Council Chambers at 406 Ivinson Avenue beginning at 5:30pm.  The public is encouraged to attend.
