About Single Stream Recycling
This means you can put all your recyclables together, no sorting needed! Use your brown 96 gallon cart with the blue lid to place all your standard recyclables together. In order to ensure pickup, your recycling cart must be properly placed in the collection area by 7:00 am on your scheduled collection day.
Please do not bag your recyclables.

To bag or not to bag......

Do I need to bag my recycling?
NOIf you bag your recycling
you’re defeating the whole purpose. The bag is treated like garbage and its contents are not recycled. Anything that’s in a plastic bag goes right to the trash. The workers that sort the recycling don’t know what’s in the bags and it takes too much time to open every one.

Do I need to bag my trash?
YES - all trash must be bagged before it is put in the roll cart. Bagging helps keep your cart clean and reduces windblown litter.
