New Advisory Committee Created for Imperial Heights Park

The City of Laramie has formed an Ad Hoc Advisory Committee to help guide the development of the new Imperial Heights Park. The Imperial Heights Park Ad Hoc Advisory Committee will consult with the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board and City staff while the park is in the design and development phase to ensure that the new park will fit the needs of the Imperial Heights neighborhood and the Laramie community as a whole. The Parks and Recreation Department strives to involve the public in creating recreational opportunities and park spaces that meet the needs of our diverse population. The Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board and the Parks and Recreation Department would like to invite neighborhood residents and members of the Laramie community to become involved with the appointed Committee as it begins to work on the design and development of the Imperial Heights Park. Meeting dates are listed below. Feel free to contact Park Manager David Schott at or at 721-5264 with any comments or questions.

The Imperial Heights Park Ad Hoc Advisory Committee consists of seven (7) total members; comprised of three (3) current members from the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board and four (4) at-large members of the public.

The City of Laramie and the Parks, Tree and Recreation Advisory Board would like to thank the public for their interest in the park design process. We look forward to working with the community as work progresses on the new Imperial Heights Park. For more information on the Imperial Heights Park, see below.
