2016 Community Partners

The City of Laramie and Albany County, through their annual budget making processes, provide funding opportunities to local community partner organizations. Community Partners organizations (previously known as outside agencies) receiving municipal and/or county funds do not operate within the formal structure of city or county governments, but may use fiscal support from these governments to achieve their missions or fund special projects.

Community Partner organizations generally have a strong presence within our community and provide vital services, products, or activities which serve to local area improvement in a variety of ways.

Please download the two files below to make your application for a Community Partner Grant. City staff will deliver applications from agencies seeking funding from the County to the County Clerk’s office. 

The application process also includes a five minute presentation and “question and answer” session with the City Council and the County Commissioners. Applications must be received by 5 p.m. February 17th to the Office of the City Manager, Suite 220, City Hall, 406 Ivinson Avenue.
