Mosquito Control
Currently the risk of West Nile virus infection is Level 1, Low Risk. Currently 20 pools of vector mosquitoes and one American Crow have been tested for WNv. All tests were negative.

For Monday evening July 25th, Mosquito Control plans to apply Evolure 4-4 ULV in West zone. Areas to be completed include: all areas within the City limits, west of the Union Pacific Rail road yards. the west area was not completed on Sunday due to high winds. Applications will begin at 9:00 pm.

Additionally all parks and recreation areas are treated daily Sunday through Thursday

Mosquito control will also be applying Bti to control larval mosquitoes in irrigated and wetland areas in and around Laramie throughout the summer season. 

Integrated Pest Management
For Tuesday July 26th, IPM plans to apply Prodeuce herbicide to control unwanted vegetation at the beautification area on Grand Avenue just East of Wister Dr. and Kiowa Park. Additionally crews plan to apply speedzone herbicide to control broadleaf weeds at the beautification area on Grand Avenue just East of Wister Dr. and Kiowa Park.

Applications will begin at 5:30 am.

All applications are on a weather permitting basis.
