Mosquito Control crews have begun operations for the 2013 season.

City of Laramie Mosquito Control currently rates the risk of West Nile virus infection at Level 1-(Remote risk). 

Currently Mosquito Control  crews are applying Bti to control larval mosquitoes in wetlands and irrigated areas in and around Laramie. 

Thursday May 23rd and Friday May 24th Integrated pest management will be applying Speed Zone herbicide to control Broadleaf weeds at the Cemetery beginning at 5:30am.  

Chemical application schedules will also be available daily on the Mosquito Control and Integrated Pest Management Hotline at 721-5056. The Hotline is updated daily at 4pm and will also list any chemical applications made by City of Laramie Parks Division crews.
