Mosquito Control
Currently the risk of West Nile virus infection is Level 1, Low Risk. Currently 56 pools of vector mosquitoes and five American Crows have been tested for WNv. One mosquito pool and  three American Crows have tested positive for WNv in the City surveillance program. A fourth bird tested by the Wyoming State Veterinary Lab was also positive for WNv. One human case of WNv has also been reported in Albany County by Wyoming Dept. of Health.

Adult mosquito fogging has concluded for the season. 

Mosquito control will be applying biological larvicide to control larval mosquitoes in wetlands and irrigated areas in and around Laramie. These applications will continue throughout the summer season.   

IPM
IPM has no planned applications at this time.
