Did you know that both the City of Laramie and Albany County provide funding to non-governmental agencies through the "5th Penny" General Purpose Local Option Tax? Since FY2015 $2.8M dollars have been “paid forward” to  over 30 partner agencies, which have created jobs, economic opportunities, help disadvantaged residents, improved the quality and character of our community and contributed to Laramie’s quality of life generating incalculable returns on investments.
