Members

The Albany County Plains Civic Center Joint Powers Board consists of seven (7) members total, four (4) members appointed by City Council and three (3) members appointed by the Albany County Commissioners, for three (3) year terms.

Board Responsibilities

  • Administers acquisition, financing, renovation, and operation of the Laramie Plains Civic Center.
  • Enters into contracts and agreements relevant to operation of the Laramie Plains Civic Center.
  • Prepares their annual budget for review by the Laramie City Council and Albany County Commissioners.
  • Provides an orderly and economic method of administration of the Laramie Plains Civic Center as a way of providing a central location for -and enhancing enrichment services to- all members of our community, including cultural, educational, and recreational activities.
