Personal Trainer Information

Do you need some help developing a fitness program and feeling comfortable with the equipment available at the Recreation Center? Or are you looking to take your workout to the next level? The services of certified trainers are available to members of the Laramie Community Recreation Center! Our certified personal trainers will help you work out at a level to effectively achieve your goals. Whatever your fitness needs, consider calling the Recreation Center, 721-5269, to begin your individualized fitness program!

  • Available at the Recreation Center, by appointment only.
  • 16 yrs + (exceptions considered). 
  • 24-hour notice required for registration and cancellation.
  • Single sessions for Individual members: $30
  • Single sessions for two (2) members: $40

Personal Trainers on staff:

Jessica Kern: Jessica is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer &  Nutrition Coach.

Nick Roewer: Nick is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association with a B.S. in Kinesiology, specializing in bodybuilding. Nick has worked with clients from a wide variety of backgrounds, including middle aged and elderly clientele, youths working towards collegiate sports, and beginners who want to get stronger and improve muscle mass efficiently. He also has education and experience in nutritional guidance to support your goals.

Clint Swierczek: Coach Swiz is an American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Personal Trainer with a degree in Physical Education & Health from the University of Wyoming. He is a retired educator and current coach with nearly 40 years of experience in the areas of fitness, wellness, and athletics. He currently specializes in senior fitness and wellness and enjoys working with all ages to help them maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Andrea Vondra: Andrea is a NETA certified personal trainer with additional certifications in Yoga, Pound, Barre, Kickboxing, & indoor cycling. 

Start Now:

-You first need to be a monthly or annual member of the Recreation Center. Then you complete a Personal Trainer Request Packet that is available at the front desk or forms can be downloaded below. If necessary, you might need to seek medical clearance from a physician. The Personal Trainer Packet is available at the Recreation Center Front Desk or may be downloaded below.

-Turn your Personal Trainer Packet at the Recreation Center Front Desk.

-A Personal Trainer will contact you to schedule your first session.

-The first 30-minute consultation is free. 

-Every session thereafter, check-in at the Front Desk and pay, you will receive a receipt for your records and a receipt to give to the Personal Trainer.
