Meetings

Meetings of the RAC are held quarterly during the months of February, May, August, and November on the second Thursday of the month at 1:00 PM via Zoom and in person, 4373 N. 3rd Street, Laramie, WY 82072.

Members

The Ranch Advisory Commission consists of five (5) voting members: four (4) At Large appointed members who serve three-year staggering terms, and one (1) City Council member. Appropriate staff members serve as liaisons to the commission as necessary.

Board Functions

The Ranch Advisory Commission evaluates current and future uses of the Monolith Ranch and Bath/Hart Ranch for the City of Laramie, Wyoming, regarding the preservation of water rights, agricultural practices, and other ranch issues.

Ad Hoc Ranch Advisory Committee

The Ad Hoc Ranch Advisory Committee was dissolved 10.17.23 with the permanent Ranch Advisory Commission taking its place. The Ranch Advisory Commission will continue the work of the previous ad hoc committee overseeing the stewardship of ranch property owned by the City of Laramie while keeping the City's water rights paramount.
