Join us to learn the rules of broomball, practice, and have our Adult Broomball League Team Meeting. Come check out this fun activity at our free Broomball Social on Sunday, January 8th from 2:30-4:30 pm. Everyone's invited! Teams new and experienced, those interested in learning more or individuals looking to join a league team.
Adult Coed Broomball League - January 15th - March 5th, 2023
Sundays 5:30pm – 9:30pm
Looking for something fun to do this winter?! Join our co-ed adult broomball league. Broomball is a game played indoors on the ice with rules similar to hockey. Players wear special rubber-soled shoes, use a ball instead of a puck, and use specially designed "brooms" made out of wood or aluminum. Participants are encouraged to wear warm clothes and gloves.
Games are played every Sunday night, January 15th through March 5th, 2023. Games are scheduled on Sundays 5:30-9:30pm. $300 per team. Teams consist of 8 players, plus subs. Register Online or with Ice Arena or Rec Center Front desks.
Registration deadline is January 9, 2023 at 8pm.
CURLING LEAGUE- FALL
Come see what all the excitement is about! A curling team consists of four players, each throwing two stones, first in one direction and then throwing in the opposite direction. Teammates who are not throwing may sweep his/her partner’s stone. Seasonal League play will conclude with a tournament to determine the Laramie Curling League Champions! Registration will open on September 9th and run through September 26th, 2022 at 6pm. The Manager’s organizational meeting will be held at the Ice & Event Center (TBD). The Curling League will run from October 23rd through December 11th, 2022. There is a maximum of 12 teams so don’t delay!
