Optimist Dog Park Closure

Ice and snow melt have caused the Optimist Dog Park to become unsuitable for use. The Parks and Recreation Department has closed the Optimist Dog Park, beginning February 9, 2017 until conditions allow use that will not result in damage to the turf.  Parks & Recreation Department Staff will inspect the dog park daily to make recommendations for re-opening the Dog Park beginning Monday, February 20, 2017. If conditions allow the Optimist Dog Park to be opened the mobile barricades will be used to direct patrons around areas that require protection as needed. The Aragon Dog Park will remain open to the public. Thank you for your consideration and patience during this interruption in service.
