Laramie River Greenbelt Re-Opened

20180205_093518-01

Laramie, Wyoming: WYDOT contractors have completed the repair and remediation on and around the greenbelt path under Snowy Range Road adjacent to the Laramie River. Crews removed the signs and barricades to allow users access to this section of Laramie River Greenbelt on Monday February 5, 2018. Staff will continue to monitor water flow and ice buildup along the path and will close this section if conditions cause safety issues.

Crossing Snowy Range Road to avoid this trail section is dangerous and should not be attempted due to high vehicle speeds, steep grades and construction in the area. Greenbelt users are reminded that the Wyoming Territorial Prison Park property requires an annual fee for access and trespassing to avoid high water areas is not permitted.
