Laramie earns spot on LIVABILITY.COM's "2018 100 Best Places to Live!"

An Affordable and Attractive place to live Laramie has a lower cost of living that most cities in America, and popular outdoor activities include fishing, hiking, hunting, mountain biking, rafting, skiing and snowmobiling. The city ranks high in education with the University of Wyoming, Wyoming Technical Institute and a branch of Laramie County Community College, and housing choices are plentiful with the median home price at a reasonable $193,000. The community’s small-town charm attracts both families and retirees, and the most famous annual event is a Laramie Jubilee Days each July that brings in more than 100,000 people. Residents are also proud of their reputation of volunteering for many causes.
