In the budget crunch I had thought there was some place to suggest ways to save but I can't seem to find it. I think the city could save a bit by not printing out the front and back full color Gem City staff update and inserting it in every pay check envelope. Rather, put it up on the web or send it via email. Better for the environment as well.

Just because there are no paved streets and sidewalks doesn't mean people don't have to follow the rules of parking. Let's have the police patrol the streets and make sure people park legally like they would if the roads were paved. Many cars park head-in in the street right of way and all across the front of a house. You can't do this on paved streets anywhere.
