Albany County Recreation Board Funding Proposals

The City of Laramie, Wyoming will accept written proposals for fiscal year 2020:  Albany County Recreation Board Funding Per the by-laws of the Albany County Recreation Board, the Board will receive proposals from the City of Laramie for recreation projects, which may include facilities, construction, programs, maintenance and operation, and equipment. The City of Laramie is accepting proposals from community recreation providers, organizations, and clubs for fiscal year 2020 community recreation projects.  Proposals must be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Department, office of the Parks & Recreation Director, 920 Boulder Drive, Laramie, Wyoming 82070 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on the 14th day of December 2018.  Project description and instructions to respondents along with all background information concerning the Albany County Recreation Board grants are available by clicking here or copies of the proposals may be obtained by contacting the office of the Parks and Recreation Director, Todd Feezer at 307-721-5260. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any submittal and/or reject all proposals, and to accept proposals that are in the best interest of the City.

Spring Creek Trail – Phase 1 Design/Engineering & Construction Documents

The City of Laramie (hereafter “City” or “COL”) will accept written submittals for: Spring Creek Trail – Phase 1 Design/Engineering & Construction Documents  The City of Laramie (hereafter “City” or “COL”) is seeking qualified firms to develop the concept of a shared use path between 30th Street and 23rd Street at LaPrele Park. Spring Creek Trail – Phase 1 is part of an overall effort to provide a shared use path from 30th Street to 3rd Street utilizing the Spring Creek corridor. Items under general consideration for this project include an evaluation and suggested improvements to the existing pedestrian crossing at 30th Street south of Garfield Street and improvements to the public routing of bicycle and pedestrian traffic between 30th Street and 23rd Street at LaPrele Park. This project is funded by a Federal Highway Administration Transportation Alternatives Program Grant administered by the Wyoming Department of Transportation.  Written, sealed submittals must be submitted to the City of Laramie, Parks & Recreation Dept., Attn: Todd Feezer, Director, P.O. Box C, Laramie WY, 82073 (street address: 920 Boulder Dr., Laramie WY 82070) no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, November 27, 2018. A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 10:00am at the Laramie Community Recreation Center, 920 Boulder Dr., Laramie, WY 82070. The City reserves the right to award this project to the firm that best fits the requirements outlined in the Request for Qualifications. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in any submittal and/or reject all submittals, and to accept the submittal that is in the best interest of the City.

Imperial Heights Park 5-12-Year-Old Playground Design, Provision & Installation

The City of Laramie, Wyoming will accept qualifications for professional services to complete:  Imperial Heights Park 5-12-Year-Old Playground Design, Provision & Installation The selected contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, and supplies necessary for the design, provision and installation of an ADA accessible 5-12-Year-Old play structure, additional components, if possible, and additional engineered wood fiber for a total project cost under $40,000.  Instructions to respondents, project scope, deliverables, a general description of the project and available background information are available by clicking here. Qualifications shall be submitted to the Parks & Recreation Director, P.O. Box C, Laramie, Wyoming 82073 no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 15, 2018.  This project is funded in part by the Land & Water Conservation Fund administered by the Wyoming Department of State Parks and Cultural Resources, Division of State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails and the Albany County Recreational Mill Levy administered by the Albany County Recreation Board.
