At approximately 2020 hours on 02/28/2025, a possible structure fire on Bobcat Lane near Laramie, WY was called into the LARC 911 dispatch center. Units responded from City of Laramie Fire Department , Albany County Sheriff, Vedauwoo VFD, Albany County Central VFD, Centennial VFD, Big Laramie VFD, Tie Siding VFD and WyCo VFD. Three Laramie Fire Department firefighters were conducting suppression and overhaul activities inside the structure and were injured in a structural collapse. The three LFD Firefighters were transported by LFD ambulance to Ivinson Memorial Hospital in Laramie, WY. Two LFD Firefighters were treated and released for their injuries. A third was transferred by medevac flight to Colorado for treatment of his injuries. At approximately 2330 hours, the fire was under control with extensive overhaul occurring throughout the evening and into the next morning.
The fire scene is currently under investigation by the Wyoming State Fire Marshall’s Office and City of Laramie Fire Prevention Office investigators.
