Beat the post-holiday blues and immerse yourself in a winter wonderland of lights at Washington Park during the Winter Lights Festival, brought to the community by Tough Guys Landscaping & Lighting. The park was first lit with holiday displays and festive lights in November to commemorate the festive season and will continue through the end of January. Grab your friends and family and visit the festival from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. every night before the park goes dark on January 31st.
The 3rd annual Winter Lights Festival is brought to the community by Tough Guys Landscaping, with special thanks for the support of 50+ sponsors who have helped create a truly unique winter experience in Laramie. The Winter Lights Festival shows how Tough Guys Landscaping stays dedicated to making the winter season a little brighter while supporting local nonprofits, charities, and businesses. Now, Laramie residents only have a few short weeks left to witness the magic unfold and capture precious moments with a cozy winter backdrop of lights.
Plan your excursion so you can also enjoy the remaining special events including horse and carriage rides each Friday and Saturday night (provided by the Starks Family) and Cocoa for a Cause where “Cocoa” booths are run by local non-profits or clubs raising funds to support their missions! Plus, proceeds from horse and carriage rides go directly to local Laramie nonprofits. Then, on Saturday, January 18th at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., enjoy Minion Short Films in the Park (sponsored by Laramie Ford).
Tough Guys Landscaping is also running a people’s choice contest where attendees vote on their favorite displays, including the best-decorated tree, best sign display, most festive design, and more. Vote for the best display now through January 31st and learn more about the Winter Lights Festival and the special events at https://toughguyswyo.com/winter-lights-festival/.
